Access: 1º acceso: Partiendo desde San Martin de los Andes y tras 12 Kms. de ripio por la ruta Provincial N° 62.
2º acceso: ruta Nacional N° 234 a la altura del aeropuerto Chapelco. En este sector del río es imposible acampar por tratarse de campos privados, pero no hay problama con el ingreso.
3º acceso: A partir del cruce de la ruta Nacional N° 234 con el Río Quilquihue, siendo éste más cercano a Junín de los Andes. Partiendo aguas abajo, tras 400 mts. de caminata, llegamos a su unión con el río Chimehuin
Comments: Devolución obligatoria de todos los salmónidos.
