Comments: El lago se ubica 8,5 kilómetros al sur del lago Maihue, en la comuna de Futrono, a más de 500 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Sus aguas desaguan hacia el norte, a través del río Melpue, las que alimentan el lago Maihue.
